H2Excellence Showcased at Finland’s Leading Energy Event

H2Excellence was presented at the Energy Fair (Energia 2026) in Tampere, Finland, from 20 to 22 October 2026, as part of the dissemination activities carried out by Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK).

The Energy Fair is one of Finland’s most significant events for the energy sector, bringing together energy professionals, technology providers, researchers, educational institutions, and policymakers to discuss the latest developments in energy production, electrification, decarbonization, renewable energy, and emerging clean-energy technologies. The event serves as an important platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and showcasing innovative solutions that support the green transition.

Under the theme “From Learning to Leading – Hydrogen at VAMK,” VAMK hosted an exhibition booth highlighting its extensive hydrogen-related activities. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about ongoing initiatives in hydrogen education, research, innovation, and workforce development, as well as the growing role of hydrogen in the future energy system.

Among the projects featured at the booth was H2Excellence, which attracted interest from representatives of industry, education, and the public sector. The booth presented the project’s objectives, achievements, educational resources, and emerging training opportunities to a diverse audience. Discussions focused on the importance of developing hydrogen-related skills and competencies to support Europe’s clean energy transition and the growing demand for a qualified workforce across the hydrogen value chain.

The event also provided an excellent opportunity to increase the visibility of H2Excellence, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and promote the project’s outcomes to potential future users and collaborators. Through direct interactions with visitors, VAMK was able to share experiences from the project and highlight how H2Excellence contributes to advancing vocational excellence, innovation, and international cooperation in hydrogen education and training.

Participation in the Energy Fair represents another important step in ensuring that the knowledge, training materials, and good practices developed through H2Excellence continue to reach a wide audience and create lasting impact beyond the project consortium.

Through events such as Energia 2026, H2Excellence continues to support the development of hydrogen skills ecosystems and strengthen Europe’s capacity to deliver the green transition through education, innovation, and collaboration.
