H2Excellence Organizes First Site Visit and Third Transnational Meeting in Belfort

The H2Excellence project has successfully accomplished its first site visit and third general/transnational meeting in Belfort, France, from 2–4 December 2025. The event was hosted by our valued partner Pôle Véhicule du Futur (PVF), the H2Excelelnce French Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE), with most activities taking place at Centre Atria, Avenue de l’Espérance, Belfort.

Day 1 featured guided visits to discover the Belfort Hydrogen ecosystem which offered participants a unique opportunity to experience cutting-edge hydrogen initiatives.
Day 2 was dedicated to the Hydrogen Career Day, organized in collaboration with the Green SKHy project, followed by visits to FC Lab and H2Sys in which advanced hydrogen technologies were demonstrated.
Day 3 concluded with the Third General/Transnational Meeting, hosted by the project coordinator Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK).

Highlights included riding a hydrogen-powered bus and engaging with leading hydrogen industries and research labs. These activities provided invaluable insights into hydrogen technologies and strengthened collaboration among European partners.

A big thank you to Inès Buchheit and Bertrand Boivert at PVF for organizing this inspiring visit and to all partners for their active participation. This milestone demonstrates the strong commitment of H2Excellence to building a robust hydrogen skills ecosystem across Europe.
