The Second Italian Workshop on Ammonia Energy was held at Politecnico di Bari on June 5-6, 2024. Ammonia is emerging as a highly promising hydrogen carrier! Like hydrogen, ammonia is carbon-free and can be produced from renewable sources (green ammonia), offering higher energy densities. Given the increasing interest in ammonia as an energy vector, H2Excellence is exploring the development of educational tools dedicated to the role of hydrogen in the production of green ammonia. Our H2Excellence partner, Giovanni Cinti, from the University of Perugia (UNIPG), Italy presented H2Excellence project and course development on hydrogen energy during the workshop. UNIPG is also a leader for Task 3.3: Design and deployment of EQF level 6-8 training programme for hydrogen and fuel cells within H2Excellence project.
