The H2Excellence project is pleased to announce the upcoming H2Excellence Capacity Building Online Workshop, taking place on 14 October 2026 from 09:30 to 12:30 (CET) and organized by our valued partners EVBB and ATENA. The workshop brings together vocational education providers, industry representatives, universities, policymakers and hydrogen stakeholders to paint the bigger picture of Europe’s hydrogen skills landscape, while also offering first‑hand insights from the organisations involved in developing the project’s tools, resources and services.
Throughout the morning, participants will explore the key outcomes of H2Excellence and the lessons learned during its implementation, including:
- Hydrogen skills in Europe today – current gaps, workforce needs and emerging trends
- Training innovation – digital tools, learning resources and new approaches developed within the project
- Piloting insights – experiences and feedback from trainees, trainers and companies across Europe
- Micro‑credentials – recognising hydrogen competences and supporting mobility and career pathways
- European mapping – an overview of hydrogen training initiatives across different countries
- The H2Excellence Knowledge Hub – a digital space connecting training, industry and innovation
- Industry perspectives – real‑world needs and expectations from the hydrogen sector
