H2Excellence Disseminated at World Power-to-X Summit in Marrakesh, Morocco

The World Power-to-X Summit was held in Marrakesh, Morocco on 1–2 October 2025. The Summit aimed to accelerate the global energy transition by promoting green hydrogen and Power-to-X technologies. It was also aimed at fostering international collaboration among governments, industries, and academia to build a sustainable and competitive hydrogen ecosystem. The summit was inaugurated by H.E. Dr. Leila Benali, Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development of the Kingdom of Morocco, setting the tone for high-level discussions on global energy transformation.

Our H2Excellence project was also disseminated at the World Power-to-X Summit. From the project, Dr. Karna Dahal from the Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK), Finland, participated in the summit and shared insights about H2Excellence with a wide range of stakeholders.

He engaged with participants from academia, industry, and government including the representatives from Al Akhawayn University (AUI) (in the above picture, from left to right: Mr. Achraf Ifinis, Representative, Business Finland; Dr. Salah Al-Majeed, Dean, AUI, Dr. Karna Dahal, Representative, VAMK, and Mrs. Najlaa Sabir, Representative, AUI). The project was also briefed to H.E. Mrs. Marjaana Sall, Ambassador of Finland to Morocco. The summit provided a valuable platform to build networks with hydrogen-related industries and research institutions not only in Morocco but also globally.

The dissemination of H2Excellence at this international forum highlights the project’s commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation in the hydrogen sector.
