The H2Excellence project is dedicated to promoting excellence in research on fuel cells and green hydrogen. The project consortium partner University of Perugia (UNIPG) in support of other consortium universities and R&D labs is organizing PhD and master’s thesis competition. This European/international competition aims to select the best master and PhD theses in the area of fuel cells and hydrogen. This initiative seeks to inspire and motivate young researchers to engage in scientific projects and disseminate groundbreaking research to a wider audience.
Application process
To participate, fill out the application form by June 30, 2025. Your thesis must have been defended between January 2024 and June 2025. Required information includes your name, email, educational institution, supervisor, thesis title, defence date, keywords, and abstract. You are strongly encouraged to submit optional materials such as your thesis file, presentation, and a video pitch.
Selection and awards
Applications will be evaluated based on scientific quality, presentation quality, and study impact. Winners will receive 1000 €, travel funding to attend the ceremony, and a certificate of achievement. The award ceremony will take place on September 19, 2025, in Capri, Italy, during the European Fuel Cell Conference (EFC).
